Description
Mooring Plot 4 is a located within the Broads National Park on the river bank of the picturesque River Waveney, just outside of the town of Beccles in Suffolk. The mooring is accessed by a decked walkway which leads off a footpath that rubs from Beccles to Geldeston. A car park is located a short walk from the mooring, this is a dedicated cark park for mooring owners and is accessed through a locked gate.
Heading upstream takes you to Geldeston and The Locks pub, from here you can pass under the footbridge and take a dinghy or paddle board further upstream to Ellingham. Heading down stream you pass Beccles Town Quay and have access to the rest of the navigational Broads including, Oulton Broad, Norwich, Breydon Water and access to the Northern Broads subject to restrictions.
