Description
Broom 42 CL, 2001, Twin Yanmar 350hp diesels. This is a superbly presented example and benefits from being fitted out with the desired cherry stain interior and white heads vanity tops. Accommodation
Cockpit – Raised aft cockpit with good visibility and covered by a Jeckells two section canopy which was new in 2026. A central radar arch is fitted with a hinged folding system to reduce the air-draft to around 10′ 6″ for bridge clearance. The cockpit sole is covered in synthetic teak, there is a ‘C’ shaped seating area to the starboard side around a folding leaf table, single seating to port.
A triple helm position with engine controls and instrumentation, thruster controls and navigation equipment. The dash was resprayed in 2026 in a lovely grey finish.
Saloon – Open saloon layout with large curved sofa to starboard and linear sideboard to port, wooden coffee table with folding leaf and two free standing stools. Drinks cabinet with factory fitted clear doors. Sliding side door gives quick and easy access to port side deck. Curtains to side windows. The saloon upholstery was new in 2025 and carpets were new in 2026.
Dinette – Lower deck level dinette is to port side conveniently opposite the galley. It has curved seating around a wooden table that lowers to create a double berth. Fitted cupboards and storage . The galley upholstery was new in 2025 and the carpet was new in 2026.
Galley – Lower deck level ‘C’ shaped galley to the starboard side has a plenty of storage, a double oven with grill and hob, extractor fan, fridge, 1 1/2 sinks, Avonite worktop and synthetic teak flooring. A remote generator control panel in fitted in the galley.
2nd cabin – Located in the bow is the twin berth second cabin. Overhead cupboards wardrobes and vanity unit provide good storage, and there is comfortable floor space between the berths. There is Jack and Jill access to the main heads.
Heads – The main heads has moulded vanity unit in the preferred white colour with sink and tap. storage cupboards with mirrored doors are fitted behind the vanity and below the windows that have fitted blinds. The toilet is an electric quiet flush version and there is a shower with a curtain.
Master cabin – Aft cabin with a large, central island bed, fitted vanity units and double wardrobes on both sides. Two large stern windows/hatches let in plenty of light along with the side windows.
Ensuite – Starboard side ensuite heads has moulded vanity units in the preferred white colour with basin and tap. Electric quiet flush toilet. A separate port side shower room also has a seat and basin.
